Is Creators House the Right Stage for Your Family’s Next Adventure?

Enrollment at Creators House is an audition - not a traditional admissions process.

We are not the right fit for every family. And that’s intentional.

Just as an actor auditions for a play, families and learners audition for a community built on freedom, responsibility, and excellence. Our process allows both your family and our team to thoughtfully discern whether a learner-driven model is the right next step in your child’s Hero’s Journey.

If you’re looking for traditional school, we’re not it. If you’re looking for ownership, challenge, and growth, you may be in the right place.

Audition Process

1

Discovery Call (Optional)

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions your family will make.

We offer a focused 20-minute Discovery Call for families who would like to explore whether Creators House may be a fit before moving forward. During this conversation, we will:

  • Share how our learner-driven model works
  • Learn about your family’s hopes and concerns
  • Help you discern whether taking the next step makes sense

This step is optional but often helpful.

2

Deepen Your Understanding of the Acton Philosophy

Before submitting an Online Audition, families are required to engage deeply with the ideas behind learner-driven education. Specifically, we ask that you:

These resources provide essential context for how freedom, responsibility, accountability, and excellence function inside our studios.

Because Creators House is built on shared principles, alignment with these ideas is a prerequisite for moving forward in the enrollment process.

3

Family Audition

After completing Step 2, families who feel aligned may submit a Family Audition. This reflective application helps us understand:

  • Your family’s values
  • Your learner’s readiness for responsibility
  • Your understanding of learner-driven education

Families who demonstrate strong alignment will be invited to the next step.

4

Learner Audition (Explorer Studio and Up)

After reviewing the Family Audition, families who demonstrate strong alignment will receive an emailed invitation to complete the Learner Audition, which allows us to assess readiness for the responsibility and independence required in a learner-driven environment.

5

Shadow Days

Shadow days give your learner a firsthand experience of our studios - how heroes set goals, work independently, and collaborate in teams. Learners ages 7 and up will spend a minimum of two days shadowing, while learners under 7 will spend a minimum of one day.
