Enrollment at Creators House is an audition — not a traditional admissions process. This isn't the right fit for every family, and that's okay. The audition is a mutual evaluation where both the school and your family assess alignment with our learner-driven model. We recognize that we ask you to dedicate time and thought to this process. Families who are thriving in our community often share that they truly enjoyed it.

The 5-Step Audition Process

Step 1: Discovery Call (Optional)
A 20-minute conversation where your family can explore alignment with Creators House. We'll discuss how the learner-driven model operates, your family's goals and concerns, and whether proceeding makes sense.

Step 2: Deepen Understanding of Acton Philosophy
Read Courage to Grow by Laura Sandefer and listen to the Dad Saves America podcast featuring Laura Sandefer. Alignment with the Acton philosophy is a prerequisite for moving forward.

Step 3: Family Audition
Submit a reflective application addressing your family values, your learner's readiness for responsibility, and your understanding of learner-driven education.

Step 4: Learner Audition (Explorer Studio and Up)
Following a positive Family Audition review, learners complete an audition assessing their readiness for independence and responsibility.

Step 5: Shadow Days
Experience the studio firsthand — observe goal-setting, independent work, and team collaboration. Minimum two days for ages 7+; one day for younger learners.
