Discovering Together Whether Acton Is the Right Stage for Your Family’s Next Adventure

At Creators House, enrollment is an audition, not a traditional admissions process.

Just like an actor auditions for a play, families and learners audition for a community built on freedom, responsibility, and excellence. This process allows both your family and our team to thoughtfully discern whether Acton’s learner-driven model is the right fit.

Audition Process

1

Equip Yourself

Choosing a school is a big decision. Before beginning the enrollment process, please spend time getting to know the Acton philosophy.

These resources will help you determine whether Acton’s learner-driven, responsibility-based approach aligns with your family’s values and vision.

2

Visit Our Campus

If you believe deeply in your child as an independent learner and have completed Step 1 above, we invite you to schedule a campus tour.

3

Complete an Online Audition

After visiting our campus, you’ll be invited to complete an online audition. This gives us a deeper understanding of your family’s story, educational values, and what drew you to Acton.

The audition also invites reflection on how your family defines learning, responsibility, and success. Your responses help us better understand each learner’s curiosity, motivation, and readiness for a learner-driven studio.

4

Shadow Day

Shadow days give your learner a firsthand experience of Acton’s studios—how heroes set goals, work independently, and collaborate in teams. Learners ages 7 and up will spend a minimum of two days shadowing, while learners under 7 will spend a minimum of one day.
